Hello! I’m a writer, editor, and copywriter with over a decade of experience in media, publishing, and branding.

I began my career in journalism, and have written and edited stories about literature, fashion, and culture for the New Yorker, Billboard, Bon Appetit, the Boston Globe, Etsy, i-DInStyle, The Los Angeles Review of Books, New York, the New York Times, Teen Vogue, and The Village Voice, among other places. Highlights include profiling the publisher of a magazine about female drummers, talking to Susan Orlean about why she loves gardening as a method of procrastination, and finding solace in Emily Dickinson’s poetry.

I have also had the pleasure of interviewing and profiling an impressive range of writers, artists, and performers, from big names like Kristen Stewart, Fiona Apple, Leonard Cohen, Michelle Dockery, and Jeffrey Eugenides to independent artists and makers running their own businesses on Etsy.

An article I wrote for Time Out New York about The Morgan Library and Museum’s exhibit of J.D. Salinger’s letters was excerpted in David Shields and Shane Salerno’s best-selling biography, Salinger (Simon & Schuster, 2013).

After transitioning to a career as a copywriter and content strategist, I began leveraging my deep storytelling experience to develop content for companies in the tech space, as well as fashion brands looking to find their voice. Clients include WeWork, Meetup, Aritzia, Bloomingdale’s, John Hardy, Tradlands, and B2B companies on the other side of the eComm world.

I can type over 100 words per minute, and I would like to hear from you.
